Even though our offices are in Minnesota, we can work with you even if you are thousands of miles away. Via e-mail, iChat, Apple Remote Desktop, or Windows Remote Desktop Connecton and other remote internet technologies we can work almost as if we are there at your site. We even use these same tools to service clients in our immediate metro area.

How do I get started?
Just give us a call and we’ll work through the first steps toward a solution. We will need to see examples of your current reports, forms, and technology. We require clients to have high speed internet access so we can provide the best technical support.

Depending on the size and the complexity of your solution, it can take anywhere from 4 weeks to several months to complete your FileMaker project. We will give you an estimated timeline and cost after we’ve completed an initial design review.

What about support?
Cimbura.com has been around for years and we have a proven track record of outstanding technical support. Even if we were to magically disappear, there are hundreds of FileMaker developers nationwide and a top-notch technical support team at FileMaker Inc. that would be there to help in short time. We provide Filemaker technical support only for our clients. We can do so via email, telephone, remote access, and on-site charged out at our normal hourly rates.

Do I own the software you develop for me?
Cimbura.com retains the rights to the custom software we develop so that we can sell, distribute, and modify custom solutions for other uses. You own all of the proprietary data entered in your database. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use your database system without the right to sublicense it to other companies. If you have differing needs, other legal arrangements can be made before we begin creating your system.

We allow you full administrative access to your database but strongly urge clients to avoid altering the programming structure of databases unless you fully understand what you are doing. We must charge you to fix any bugs you create by making changes to the programming of the database on your own.
